In our last blog post, we went over some basics of how to work with crystals and the feng shui bagua. If you’re not familiar with the bagua, be sure to download our free bagua kit to learn more!
Each of the areas of the feng shui bagua map correspond to a particular area of life. Once you’ve decided which area you’d like to work with at this time, one way to activate it is to place a corresponding crystal there with intention. Here are our favorite crystals for the Helpful People, Completion, and Knowledge areas of the bagua:
Activate Helpful People with Smoky Quartz
Qian is the area of the bagua connected to benefactors, helpful people, and travel. It’s connected to the metal element and the color gray. Smoky quartz is a gray stone that is helpful for removing negative emotions and energy. By removing the things that are not beneficial to you, you’re making room for positive experiences, better feelings, and more helpful people. Smoky quartz can also clear the mind, and help you to be discerning about which teachers and mentors you choose to receive support from.
Activate Completion with Clear Quartz
Dui position is connected to completion, children, the metal element, and the color white. If you have a hard time finishing projects, this might be an area for you to look at! Clear quartz is a great crystal for activating this area of the bagua. It’s a very popular stone that is used to amplify the energy of other crystals. It is also helpful in finding mental clarity and removing blocks, both of which can be very helpful when you’re trying to get things done!
Activate Knowledge with Blue Sodalite
The Gen area of the bagua represents knowledge, skills, and self-cultivation. It’s also connected to the earth element and dark blue colors. Blue sodalite can be supportive in this area because it can reconnect you to your true self and help you become more familiar with your gifts, challenges, and desires. It can also help to calm the mind. Try placing blue sodalite in the Gen area of your home, or meditating with blue sodalite, to invite in deeper knowledge and self-cultivation.
